About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Lead to manage multiple websites and web apps projects, including conference websites, registration systems, and event web apps — from planning to delivery. You’ll work closely with clients, designers, and developers in a fast-paced environment to ensure timelines are met and quality is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements clearly, ask questions when something is unclear, and break them down into clear tasks for designers and developers.
• Plan project timelines with proper buffers and enough UAT time before launch.
• Review all client change requests, clarify details when needed, and ensure full understanding before briefing the team.
• Communicate closely with designers and developers to ensure tasks are understood, timelines are realistic, and progress is smooth. 
• After the team completes the work, review the output to confirm it meets the requirements before updating the client.
• Manage client expectations proactively, especially on timelines, and update clients early if any delay or issue is foreseen.
• Coordinate active 10–15 projects at different stages throughout the year.
• Monitor project delivery to ensure it meets agreed time, scope, cost, and quality.
• Identify potential issues early and recommend practical solutions to keep the project on track.
• Highlight risks and provide clear options to help management and stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Support senior management with assigned tasks, follow-ups, and reporting.

Job Requirements

 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, digital, or event project management, or client servicing.
• Strong understanding of the web and app development process, including how designers and developers work.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills — able to discuss details clearly with both clients and the internal team.
• Strong organization skills, with the ability to plan timelines well and follow up consistently.
• Able to manage fast turnaround timelines with confidence and maintain calm under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Able to analyse client requests, think critically, and clarify uncertain requirements before briefing the team.
• Communicates well with developers, designers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
