About the Role

We’re looking for a developer with 1–3 years of professional experience who can take ownership of full-stack features.

You’ll work across frontend and backend, translating product requirements into well-structured, production-ready solutions. You don’t need prior experience with Ruby on Rails, but you must have a solid understanding of web fundamentals and MVC concepts, so you can transition smoothly into our stack.

You should be confident building responsive UIs from Figma, reasoning through complex issues, and handling a project from build → test → deploy, with templates and guidance provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with Ruby on Rails for both full-stack development and API endpoints
• Build and maintain React applications
• Turn Figma designs into accurate, responsive UIs, using CSS or Tailwind without guesswork
• Own features end-to-end: implementation, testing, debugging, deployment, and iteration
• Collaborate with the team on feature planning, system design, and architecture
• Proactively suggest improvements to performance, UX, or code quality
• Occasionally support on-site deployments (optional)

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with an MVC web framework (Rails, Django, Laravel, etc.). You should understand routing, controllers, models, validation, and server-side rendering well enough to translate these concepts into Rails quickly
• Solid experience with React for building production-quality frontends (Next.js is a bonus)
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data flow, and debugging
• Strong CSS skills, able to fully implement Figma designs into responsive layouts using modern CSS (or Tailwind) with confidence
• Ability to break down problems, communicate tradeoffs, and make clear technical decisions
• Familiarity with Git
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
