JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent will support Assistant Manager of Business Control. Main objective is to perform delegated tasks in order to support monthly line result reporting for SSL team in HO, ensure delegated tasks perform in a timely manner.  

Key Result Areas :-

• Perform delegated tasks that supports Line Result Reporting for Region SSL.

• Involve with Superior in process improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure 100% accuracy in all data inputs in a timely manner.

2. Update the schedule of service lines based on reporting period in working file templates.

3. Analyze the voyage end date and assign the reporting period in System.

4. Perform bunker update in System to ensure bunker cost has been captured.

5. Perform call closure update for completed voyages.

6. Perform bayplan integration in System and update for completed ports of a voyage.

7. Identify breakbulk BL and perform necessary treatment for System to capture.

8. Perform voyage booking management in System and update to ensure correct voyages appear in reports.

9. Perform borne checking and update in System to capture correct volumes.

10. Support line controlling activities assigned by Superior.

11. Attend to any ad-hoc requests or queries from Line Controllers.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Accounting Degree in Finance/Accounting.

2. Minimum at least one (1) to three (3) years of relevant working expreince in a smiliar function, preferably from a maritime or financial environment in costing role.

3. Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words and Power point). Can perform PIVOT, V-Lookup, and various functions & formulas).

4. Has shipping knowledge.

5. Strong cost accounting knowledge, data analysis and diagnosis.

6. Good written and verbal communication skills.

7. Strong team player with ability to work indepedently and be proactive.

8. Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines with tight time frames.

9. Good organizational and analytical skills with a mature methodical approach to tasks.

10. Demonstrate ability to solve problems and offer innovative solutions.

11. Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.

12. Strong attention to detail.

13. Ability to engage and build strong work relationships with Operations, Commercial and Management in order to effectively influence and be considered dependable.

14. Knowledge Proficiency in SAP/Oracle financial system.
