Job Description

Mechanical Equipment (1 person) & Truck (1 person) maintenance, equipment safety and compliance inspections, operator/driver management. Assist the branch General Manager/Manager in preparing equipment parts procurement plans in advance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy vehicles (lorry, excavator, backhoe, forklift, crane, etc.).

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction vehicles and machinery.

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.

Ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out according to safety standards and manufacturer’s guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of service, repair, and parts usage.

Support site operations by ensuring all heavy vehicles are in safe and efficient working condition.

Report major mechanical issues and recommend solutions to management.

Ensure proper housekeeping of workshop and tools.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles and machinery.

Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs independently.

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.

Possess relevant technical/vocational certification (an advantage).

Team player, responsible, and willing to work at construction sites.

Valid driving license (GDL license is an added advantage).
