We are a hands-on F&B team focused on reliable supply, cost control and building lasting vendor relationships.

Role purpose

This role is Angle B: the Builder. You will set up and scale procurement routines, create supplier workflows and put simple systems in place so purchasing happens smoothly and on budget. You will work across the team to turn ad hoc buying into repeatable processes that save time and reduce waste.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Sourcing & Vendor Relations

• Identify and evaluate local suppliers for ingredients, packaging and equipment through price and quality checks.
• Negotiate terms, lead times and minimum orders to keep costs predictable and supply steady.
• Maintain clear supplier records and contact lists for quick reorders and issue escalation.

Purchasing & Inventory Management

• Create and raise purchase orders and follow up until delivery is confirmed and goods are received.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare simple reorder triggers to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule deliveries and handle basic returns or replacements.

Cost Control & Compliance

• Track prices and compile cost comparisons to support better buying decisions and negotiate savings.
• Ensure invoices match purchase orders and receipts, and flag discrepancies to finance for resolution.
• Support basic purchasing policy adherence and suggest small process improvements to reduce waste.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Fresh graduates or candidates with around 0 years of experience, open to entry-level procurement work. 
• Diploma or degree in business, supply chain, logistics, hospitality or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when deliveries or supplier meetings require it.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proven ability with Microsoft Excel for order lists, simple formulas and price comparisons.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and basic ERP or purchasing modules is a plus.
• Negotiation experience or training, and practical knowledge of vendor management practices.
• Language ability in Malay, English and Mandarin (is plus) for supplier communications.
