About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and innovative IoT Machine Engineer to support the development, integration, and maintenance of smart vending and coffee machines. You will play a key role in ensuring our machines are connected, efficient, and continuously improving through data and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain IoT systems for vending and coffee machines 
• Integrate machine hardware with software platforms (cloud, dashboards, apps) 
• Monitor machine performance remotely and troubleshoot connectivity/system issues 
• Work closely with Operations and QA teams to improve machine reliability and uptime 
• Support firmware updates, APK upgrades, and system configurations 
• Analyse machine data to identify trends, faults, and improvement opportunities 
• Collaborate with suppliers (local & China) for technical enhancements and issue resolution 
• Ensure proper documentation for system architecture, processes, and updates 
• Assist in deployment and setup of new IoT-enabled machines

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/IoT/Computer Engineering) 
• 1–3 years experience in IoT, embedded systems, or machine integration 
• Basic knowledge of networking (WiFi, SIM, IoT protocols like MQTT is a plus) 
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and system diagnostics 
• Familiar with Android-based systems / APK deployment is an advantage 
• Ability to read basic circuit diagrams and technical documentation 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Able to work independently and communicate with cross-functional teams 

Nice to Have

• Experience in vending machines / coffee machines / kiosk systems 
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) 
• Programming knowledge (Python, C++, or Java for IoT systems) 
• Experience working with overseas suppliers (China manufacturers)
