Job Description

Recruitment & Retention

  • Recruitment and onboarding qualified candidates based on departmental business needs and requests. 
  • Actively source candidates from rigorous selection methods to ensure we get the right people for both the required need and for the future.
  • Develop & implement policies and processes to support recruitment, retention, and motivation of employees.
  • Conduct orientation and facilitate onboarding for new hires or offboarding for leavers.

Payroll

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time (salary, OT, allowances, deductions).
  • Ensure statutory compliance: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB submissions.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll-related reports.
  • Handle employee reimbursements, and benefits administration.

Learning & Development

  • Create and implement training & development with CEO nad HODs to deliver growth of the individuals and teams within the organization.
  • Organising employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Drafting and preparing content for internal newsletters and announcements.

Compensation & Benefit

  • Design a competitive compensation & benefit strategy to attract and retain top performance at all levels.
  • Lead the team to develop and implement people engagement activities.
  • Handling employee relations and industrial relations matters including disciplinary issues and employee grievances.
  • Conducting the performance management processes, including staff performance appraisal,  counselling and updating employment confirmation. 

Manpower Planning

  • Plan and manage total company manpower budget
  • Day-to-day operations, including maintaining, updating, filing of employment records and issuance of HR letters.
  • Responsible for work pass application and renewals for foreign hires and fulfilling any regulatory requirements. 
  • Prepare monthly reports and assit adhoc tasks as required.

Office and Inventory Management

  • Oversee office administrative duties and monitor inventory of supplies and receptionist functions.
  • Coordinate office facility maintenance.


Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business / Psychology / Human Resource Management / Social Science, with at least 8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Employment Act, Labour Laws, Disciplinary procedures and Statutory Compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
  • Demonstrate leadership quality and work independently without superior guidance.
  • Demonstrate initiative in implementing new or modifying existing HR related policies and procedures.
  • Must be a self-learner. The interviewer will ask for the last book you read.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (Worksy).
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
  • Must be a Malaysian.
