Job Description

Effectively collaborate end-to-end order management, meticulously overseeing the entire process from supplier to customer. Implement precision-driven mechanisms to ensure seamless and punctual procurement and delivery of all orders, instilling confidence within the team. 

1. Process Design: Developing and implementing a strategic plan for the systematic processing and management of customer and sales orders.
2. Budgeting: Analyse market trends, historical data, and other factors to forecast future demand for products and components for production.
3. Operation & Production Planning: Ensure machines are running at maximum efficiency (Throughput) via optimal resources planning.
4. System coordination: Scrutinise and verify the accuracy of customer-placed orders to guarantee precision in fulfilment. 
5. Continuous Improvement: Simplifying and optimizing current departmental operations, aiming for increased efficiency and productivity. This may involve the implementation of new technologies, streamlined processes, and the continuous improvement of operational workflows.  
6. Supplier Management:Proactively expand our network of relevant suppliers by identifying, evaluating, and engaging with potential partners. 
7. Quality & Cost Control: Rigorously ensure the accuracy and cost-effectiveness of our costing procedures while enforce quality standards for all manufactured goods. 
8. Reporting: Prepare monthly supplier audit report, delivery efficiency reports & manufacturing output reports to management.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum of 7 years of total manufacturing experience, encompassing production/ engineering. With at least 3 years in a managerial / leadership capacity.
2. Bachelor of Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering / Supply Chain Management or any related field.
3. Knowledge of the paper or packaging manufacturing industry.
4. Must carry strong communication skills in Malay, English and foreign language proficiency, ie Mandarin (for global supply chain). 
5. Strong organising, planning, priority setting and analytical skills.
6. Strong understanding of production environment, plant utilities and warehouse operation.
7. Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining factory output and goals.
8. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy with basic financial knowledge.
