Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards and statutory reporting. 
• To plan, execute and monitor all matters related to cash flow management including receivables and payables. 
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and in-charge of monthly close processes. 
• Prepare budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required by regulatory authorities. 
• Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial and administrative duties and projects of the company. 
• Perform analytical review to understand the root cause of movements in any financial statements and advise the management for the action to be taken. 
• Liaise with external parties, eg. auditor, tax agent, company secretary and bankers. 
• Review workflows, business processes and identify areas needed for improvement and implement the enhancement to be more efficient and accurate. 
• Assisting in special projects as and when needed. 

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in finance and accounting roles. 
• E-commerce and Manufacturing background will be 1st considered.
• Degree in Accounting / Finance and above. 
• Professional certifications such as ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, CPA, CIMA would be an added advantage. 
• Solid accounting and tax knowledge with practical experience dealing with statutory body and professional.
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Malay. Mandarin will be added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools.
• Proficiency in Autocount or other accounting software. 
• Problem-solving skill.
