Job Description

Colony is s a fast-growing coworking space operator dedicated to providing flexible and dynamic workspace solutions for entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Intern to support our expansion efforts and help us open new centres. 

 

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in our growth strategy by identifying new opportunities, engaging potential clients, and supporting the end-to-end process of launching new coworking centres. You will gain hands-on experience in market research, sales, negotiations, and business strategy while working closely with our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Expansion & Lead Generation

  • Conduct market research to identify potential locations for new coworking centres.
  • Identify and reach out to potential landlords, real estate agents, and partners.
  • Assist in the pitching and negotiation of the management operator model for Landlords

Sales & Lead Engagement

  • Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Pitch our management operator coworking solutions to investors, landlords and property owners
  • Conduct follow-ups and manage relationships with prospective clients.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain and update lead databases and CRM tools.
  • Prepare business reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Track and analyze key business development metrics.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist in drafting proposals, contracts, and other business documents.
  • Support event planning and marketing initiatives to promote new centres.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new tenants.

Job Requirements

 

  • Strong command of English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct cold calls and build client relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
