Job Description
- Research and propose new styles for new season creative development, moodboards, sketches and technical drawings.
- Liaise with vendors/suppliers on sampling, comments and production status.
- Ensure production schedule is per plan.
- Costing work and follow up on production & delivery schedule.
- Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
- Negotiate prices, planning schedules and prepare PO and paperwork once orders are confirmed.
- Support brand's team function.
- Planning product ranges, preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with internal and external stakeholder.
Job Requirements
- Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Textile Design or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fashion designer and merchandising
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication, ability to translate ideas through sketching and design around concepts with strong sense of style and color
- Keen interested in fashion and not afraid to be creative
- Portfolio of work/designs
