Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts and Finance Executive to support our Operations and Finance departments. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient Accounting and financial management, compliance, and administrative operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:

Prepare bank reconciliations, manage full sets of accounts, and generate GL (General Ledger) reporting.

Assist in budget preparation, cash flow management and Taxation Compliance.

Ensure compliance with financial and all statutory requirements by liaising with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.

  1. Administrative Duties:

Oversee general administrative tasks, including record-keeping and document management.

Support day-to-day departmental operations, ensuring all administrative duties are performed efficiently.

  1. Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SST, withholding tax, and other taxation regulations.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and support external audit processes.

  1. Software and Tools:

Utilize accounting software (e.g., SQL) and advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to manage and analyse financial data.


Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Educational and Experience : -

  • Diploma or higher in Accounting.
  • Graduates or finalists of ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and reporting roles, with a good understanding of statutory compliance.
  • Prior experience in audit and accounting firms will be an added advantage.

Other Attributes:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of SST, withholding tax, and other relevant taxation regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Hardworking and a good Team Player.
