 Job Description

• Shadow the Founder’s Journey: Gain insights into how Project Rock was built from the ground up, understanding the business decisions behind scaling a community-driven fitness brand.
• Learn the Business of Routesetting: Pull back the curtain on how we design climbing problems, balance risk, and create a product that keeps customers coming back.
• Master Multi-Location Operations: See firsthand how a multi-outlet business maintains consistency, manages real-time challenges, and thrives during peak operational hours.
• Cultivate Brand Community: Learn the psychology of customer retention by engaging with our community on the floor, balancing top-tier safety with an unforgettable brand experience.
• Deconstruct the Business Model: Understand how sport, safety, culture, and revenue intersect to keep a modern climbing gym successful in a fast-moving market.
• No prior experience required – just need to be proactive, have the curiosity and willingness to learn

This internship offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Project Rock runs as a multi-location climbing gym. Interns will learn how routes are set, how safety is managed, and how daily operations come together to create a consistent climbing experience across all outlets. Beyond the floor, this is a chance to understand how Project Rock builds a community-driven fitness brand – balancing sport, safety, and experience in a fast-moving environment.
