Weena Marcus didn't set out to become the voice in the room. Thanks to a friend's challenge, she first stepped into modelling at 17, entering a competition in her hometown of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. By 2009, she was crowned Miss Malaysia Tourism and went on to represent the country at Miss Tourism Global that same year. Most titles fade into a photo on a shelf. Hers turned into a mic. Today she's not only a host and content creator but also the face of Connor's. A proud Sabahan of Rungus-Kadazan heritage, she's never let her roots sit quietly in the background either, sharing her culture and hometown openly with her community. 

Job Description

• Go through pre-event coaching with Weena on vocal confidence, pacing, and stage presence
• Co-host select segments of a live event alongside Weena, sharing the mic and the stage
• Learn how to read a room, handle live timing, and recover on the fly
• Sit down with Weena to unpack how she built a public voice and a career out of it

Job Requirements

 Experiences Offered

• The chance to co-host a live event alongside Weena
• Pre-event coaching on voice, stage presence, and on-mic delivery, learning how to read and hold a room before stepping into it
• Real stage time, sharing hosting duties on select segments of the event under Weena’s guidance

Qualifications

• No hosting or emceeing experience required
• Willing to speak, perform live, and be filmed on the day
• Aged 21 and above, non-Muslims only
