• Mustang Coffee is a mobile coffee car that turns the back of a Mustang into a fully functioning coffee bar. Inspired by brands like Connor’s that dare people to take a different path, we believe the best experiences don’t stay in one place – they move, they appear, they surprise you. You’ll find us around Penang Island, popping up at markets, events, and unexpected spots. Instead of waiting for people to come to a café, we bring the café to where the energy already is – creating spontaneous moments through good coffee and movement.

 Job Description
Work directly with the founder to understand how Mustang Coffee is built from idea to execution – 

mindset, decisions, and real-world action

• Explore the shift from corporate stability to entrepreneurship and redefining what success looks like
• Learn how ideas are tested and turned into reality through early action, not perfect planning
• Gain exposure to building a business from scratch – research, sourcing, setup, and operations
• Understand the entrepreneurial mindset needed to operate in uncertainty – resilience, courage, and self-belief
• See the real side of entrepreneurship beyond social media – risks, setbacks, and financial trade-offs
• Observe how early pop-ups and events are executed, including on-ground learnings and mistakes
• Learn how opportunities are selected based on audience fit and brand direction
• Understand how a distinctive concept is built through real-world execution, not just storytelling
• No prior experience required – for those curious about building something from the ground up

 Experiences Offered

• This one day experience offers a hands-on, end-to-end experience in running a mobile coffee business. Interns will be involved in every stage of our pop-up and event operations – from preparation and setup to customer interaction and coffee-making.
• Interns will gain exposure to real event environments, learn how to adapt quickly on the ground, and understand what it takes to build and operate a mobile brand that doesn’t rely on a fixed space. Beyond operations, this is also a chance to observe how a small brand thinks, moves, and makes decisions differently in real time.
