Job Description
Join our Collection and Recovery team and play a key role in managing customer accounts while supporting responsible repayment solutions.
Job Description:
- Contact customers via phone and other communication channels to follow up on overdue accounts.
- Negotiate repayment plans with customers and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
- Assess customers’ financial situations to recommend suitable repayment arrangements.
- Differentiate between customers who are unable to pay and those who are unwilling to pay, and take appropriate action.
- Monitor payment plans closely and follow up on any missed payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and repayment activities.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve account issues and improve collection outcomes.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of collection experience.
- Strong negotiation skills, especially when dealing with difficult customers.
- Ability to assess customers' financial situations effectively.
- Capability to distinguish between “can’t pay” and “won’t pay” cases.
- Experience in securing and monitoring realistic payment plans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
