Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Business Development Manager/Executive will play a pivotal role in driving business growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Strategy and Growth:
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop a comprehensive sales growth strategy.
    • Lead initiatives to increase sales and profit, ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
  • Market Strategy and Customer Base Expansion:
    • Strategize and execute action plans targeted at the market, consistently growing the customer base.
    • Develop strong customer relationships across all levels and identify potential synergies for strategic partnerships.
  • Sales and Marketing Material:
    • Prepare all necessary Sales & Marketing material for effective sales presentations.
  • Events and Conferences:
    • Attend domestic and/or international events and conferences to promote the company's services and enhance brand awareness.
  • Customer Guidance and Support:
    • Provide accurate guidance and advice to potential and existing customers on products and services, offering tailored solutions.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results and supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage, maintain, and retain a portfolio of accounts by delivering exceptional customer care and high-quality service.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Cross-Selling/Up-Selling:
    • Identify new business opportunities within existing clients and engage in cross-selling/up-selling activities.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Coordinate with company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and exceed customer expectations.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Support the Sales team in generating new business by analyzing competitors and developing unparalleled market intelligence.
  • Targets and Performance:
    • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Timely Responses and Collections:
    • Respond to all inquiries and sales requests within specified timeframes.
    • Perform collection activities as required.
  • Customer Needs Assessment:
    • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Possess at least a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales-related role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Messaging or Telecommunication industry is highly desirable.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Key Attributes:
    • Business Acumen: Demonstrates a strong sense of business acumen.
    • Analytical Skills: Possesses good analytical skills.
    • Results-Driven: Exhibits a result-driven mindset.
    • Influencing Skills: Highly influential in a professional capacity.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills are crucial for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day communication with potential/existing customers, conducting sales presentations, participating in conferences, and delivering other sales pitches.
