Job Summary
We are looking for a Brand Marketing & Partnerships Manager to lead the overall brand direction and external collaboration initiatives for Corkcicle Malaysia.
This role will be responsible for shaping how the brand is presented across campaigns, social media, events, corporate imagery, and offline activations. At the same time, the person will actively build partnerships with sports clubs, fitness studios, cafés, lifestyle brands, and communities to create meaningful collaborations, sponsorships, and brand events.
The ideal candidate is both creative and commercially aware — someone who understands how to build a premium lifestyle brand while turning ideas into well-executed campaigns and partnerships that grow brand exposure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Marketing Direction
- Develop and strengthen Corkcicle Malaysia’s overall brand image, positioning, and communication direction.
- Plan marketing campaigns that align with the brand’s premium, lifestyle, fashion, and active-living identity.
- Generate fresh marketing ideas to increase brand awareness, customer interest, and market relevance.
- Ensure all marketing materials, content, and campaigns are aligned with a consistent brand tone and visual direction.
- Work closely with management to translate business goals into clear marketing plans.
2. Corporate Imagery & Visual Communication
- Oversee the brand’s corporate imagery, including campaign visuals, social media direction, event visuals, promotional materials, and brand presentation.
- Provide creative direction for photoshoots, content styling, product storytelling, and visual merchandising concepts.
- Guide the team to produce stronger visual assets that reflect a premium and recognizable brand identity.
- Review and improve brand-facing materials such as social posts, presentation decks, banners, brochures, event collaterals, and other communication assets.
3. Partnerships, Sponsorships & Collaborations
- Identify and approach potential collaboration partners such as:
- Sports clubs and running communities
- Pilates, yoga, barre, and fitness studios
- Cafés, lifestyle spaces, and retail partners
- Relevant brands, communities, and event organizers
- Discuss and negotiate sponsorship, event, and co-marketing opportunities.
- Develop partnership proposals that create mutual value and increase Corkcicle’s brand exposure.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with external partners.
- Explore community-led collaborations that strengthen Corkcicle’s connection with lifestyle and wellness audiences.
4. Events & Brand Activations
- Lead the ideation and planning of offline events, studio collaborations, community activations, and brand experiences.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to execute events smoothly from concept to post-event follow-up.
- Plan event objectives, target audience, promotional angle, content opportunities, and expected outcomes.
- Ensure events are not only well-executed, but also visually on-brand and meaningful for the brand.
5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead and guide the marketing team in executing brand campaigns, content ideas, and partnership initiatives.
- Coordinate with commercial, e-commerce, KOL, and social media functions to ensure marketing efforts support overall business direction.
- Provide clear briefs, direction, and feedback to improve work quality and execution.
- Help build a more structured and proactive marketing workflow within the company.
6. Performance Review & Market Awareness
- Monitor marketing and partnership initiatives, and provide regular updates on progress, results, and learning points.
- Stay updated on lifestyle, wellness, fashion, social media, and community trends relevant to the brand.
- Identify new opportunities to keep Corkcicle Malaysia culturally relevant and ahead in the market.
