CP System Integrator Sdn Bhd (Cool Power) is seeking a Project Engineer to support its project and service operations in Malaysia, delivering reliable energy and critical power solutions. The role involves coordinating project activities, supervising site installations, supporting testing and commissioning, preparing documentation, and providing technical support to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities, site installation works, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements for genset, fuel, exhaust, ventilation, and electrical systems.
• Supervise site activities, including equipment installation, cabling, fuel piping, remote radiators, exhaust systems, and control panels.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, including pre-commissioning checks, load bank testing, black start, synchronisation, and system integration.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records, commissioning checklists, and as-built documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support to clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, material deliveries, site progress, and project documentation.
• Coordinate project handover documentation, including O&M manuals, test reports, warranties, training records, and certifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate project risks and technical issues to the Project Manager for timely resolution.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines.
• Experience in genset, power generation, M&E, data centre, or critical power projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams.
• Good understanding of diesel generator systems and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Safety and quality focused with a proactive approach to project execution.
• Willing to travel and work on-site when required.
