CP SYSTEM INTEGRATOR SDN BHD (Cool Power) is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join a dynamic team delivering reliable energy solutions. The role supports project and service operations for diesel generator and power generation systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and on-site customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel generator systems, including monthly, quarterly, and annual servicing.
• Carry out corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engines, alternators, control panels, and auxiliary systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore generator operation within targeted downtime.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and functional checks after maintenance and repair activities.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and update service documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and customers during service and maintenance activities.
• Identify, request, and replace spare parts and consumables as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company procedures.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Skills

• Certificate, Diploma, or Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines.
• Experience in diesel generators, engines, or power generation equipment is preferred; fresh candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of diesel engines, alternators, control systems, and fuel/cooling systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults systematically.
• Familiarity with genset controllers such as Deep Sea, ComAp, and Woodward is an advantage.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience in equipment repair, parts replacement, and servicing activities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Willing to perform field service work, travel, and work at customer sites when required.
• OEM service training and relevant certifications are an added advantage.
