Job Description

Strategic Planning & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Research market trends to create new sales opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the sales plan with Group Business Development Manager and Managing Directors of the Business Units.
  • Manage sales projections and planning to achieve targets.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop a network of contacts to generate business leads.
  • Conduct cold calls and set up meetings with potential clients.
  • Represent the company at presentations, social events, and networking sessions.
  • Provide after-sales support and collect client feedback for service improvement.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Lead brainstorming sessions and support business pitch preparations.
  • Assist in writing business proposals and preparing presentations.
  • Manage and update the department’s client database and project documents.
  • Oversee B2B marketing activities, including social media updates and promotions.
  • Maintain and update the company website with relevant content.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

Proposal & Tender Management

  • Lead the proposal management process, ensuring compliance with requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Actively participate in pre-qualification exercises for tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with BD team, interdepartmental teams and group of companies to meet proposal and sales targets.

Operational & Compliance Management

  • Ensure adherence to company guidelines and procedures for customer acquisition and tender submissions.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and services while identifying areas for innovation.
  • Negotiate pricing with clients and suppliers when necessary.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and analysis, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with department SOPs and the company's Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO37001, ISO45001, ISO14001).


Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and multitasking effectively.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
