 Job Description :

Assist the Head of Facility Division on the following matters (but not limited to):-

1. Deliver a high-quality facility management services that supports the needs of the Management in ensuring effectiveness and compliance.
2. Coordinate scheduled/preventive maintenance of all equipment and ensure that the certifications are up to date.
3. Perform internal maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment as and when necessary.
4. Coordinate and liaise with external suppliers for external calibration of equipment and facility.
5. Monitor the liquid nitrogen level in storage tanks on weekly basis.
6. Monitor the gas farm on daily basis i.e. CO2 and bulk liquid nitrogen level, etc.
7. Ensure that the laboratory closed-circuit television (CCTV) and SCADA system are working well at all times.
8. Conduct maintenance and periodical check on all facilities and alarm systems from time to time.
9. Act as the Deputy of Environment to ensure overall cleanliness and orderliness of all sites (internal and external) the laboratory.
10. Conduct validation for all new and existing equipment and facilities.
11. Responsible to schedule routine cleaning every month in the facility.
12. Rapidly response to unplanned maintenance activities and perform or oversee required servicing.
13. Communicate and negotiate with third party service providers for the best solutions for laboratory.
14. Ensure that all documents i.e. service reports, certificates, etc. are properly filed and maintained in the files allocated for each laboratory equipment respectively.
15. Ensure that equipment are maintained cost effectively and in accordance with the recommended practices by the manufacturers.
16. Introduce cost-saving initiatives within management role of the facilities.
17. Prepare proposals on relevant purchasing and maintenance matters to the Management to ensure consistency is achieved and efficiently manage budget and expenditure.
18. Train and supervise new laboratory personnel on maintenance of facility and laboratory equipment.
19. Carry out the environmental testing for the Clean Room.
20. Provide input for and execute validation training materials validation training materials.
21. Coordinate with superior and Quality Department to oversee compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System and also applicable regulations and standards.
22. Participate in internal and external audits, as well as inspections by the authorities.
23. Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the department are in place and reviewed from time to time.
24. Adhere to the SOP at all times as well as ensure compliance with the safety and health regulations of the laboratory at all times.
25. Ensure that the policies, processes, programmes, procedures and instructions are documented, implemented and communicated to all relevant personnel.
26. Assist in research activities carried out by the Company from time to time
27. Ensure that the quality policy is understood, implemented and adhered to by all levels of employees.
28. Carry out activities in compliance with the Company’s quality policy, the requirements of the Company’s Quality Management System and the requirements of regulations governing the laboratory testing and manufacturing i.e. ISO15189, cGMP, cGCP, cGTP, etc.
29. Maintain all standards as per requirements of the ISO15189, MOH License, cGMP, cGCP, cGTP and other certifications/accreditations.
30. Manage all subordinates in a professional and motivating manner.
31. Provide training, guidance, supervision and identify staff development needs and propose development plans for improving efficiency and future career paths.
32. Assist relevant Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in providing their services to the clients.
33. Other duties as and when requested by the Company

Job Requirements

Requirements :

• Diploma in Science or Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.
• Due to the physical nature of the role, male candidates are preferred.
• Candidates based in Cyberjaya are preferred.
