As a Builder for our ICT Infrastructure team, you will create and scale detailed CAD deliverables that guide installations and handovers. You will translate site requirements into accurate drawings, model cable pathways, and help improve our drawing standards so projects run smoother from design to commissioning.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Drawing Production

• Create and update accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for ICT infrastructure including layout plans, shop drawings, schematic and detail drawings.
• Produce clear as-built documentation and rack, pathway and cable management layouts that installers can follow on site.
• Model cable pathways and coordinate cable routing to avoid conflicts with architectural and M&E/MEP elements.
• Revise drawings promptly to reflect design changes and site conditions while meeting project timelines.

Coordination & Site Verification

• Attend coordination meetings and translate technical feedback from engineers, consultants and contractors into drawing updates.
• Read and cross-check architectural, structural and M&E/MEP drawings to resolve clashes before installation.
• Conduct site visits to verify actual conditions and gather information for accurate as-built records.
• Incorporate client and consultant comments into drawings and track approvals through revision control.

Standards, QA & BIM Support

• Maintain drawing revisions, numbering and document records to support commissioning and audits.
• Help improve CAD standards, templates and checklists so projects run smoother from design to handover.
• Provide basic BIM/Revit support when required and assist with coordination between 2D and BIM deliverables.
• Ensure drawings comply with local cabling standards and project specifications for future audits.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil, Electrical, Architectural or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant drafting experience is required.
• Proven track record producing construction-level AutoCAD drawings and complete as-built documentation.
• Experience on commercial or industrial ICT, telecommunications, ELV or data centre projects is an advantage.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is mandatory; experience with AutoCAD MEP or Revit is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards, cable management, rack layouts and network room design.
• Comfortable using MS Visio, MS Office and common file management systems for drawing control.
• Ability to read architectural and electrical drawings and integrate ICT layouts without conflicts.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking dimensions and annotations.
• Good written and spoken English for client and consultant coordination.
• Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet drawing deadlines while adapting to site changes.
• Team player with a practical mindset and a willingness to improve drafting workflows and standards.
