Job Description

As the core leader of the company’s financial system, you will report directly to the CEO and take full responsibility for financial strategy, accounting framework rebuilding, cash flow and risk management, as well as driving financial digitalization and process optimization. You will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and business expansion. This position is designed for a senior finance professional with CFO potential, with the opportunity to advance into the CFO role within 1–2 years. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to support rapid business growth and multi-brand incubation.
• Lead the finance team to establish and improve financial, accounting, internal control, and compliance systems.
• Oversee comprehensive budget management, capital planning, and cash flow management to ensure the company’s financial health.
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to provide strategic decision support to the CEO.
• Optimize tax structures and manage financial and compliance risks.
• Drive automation and digitalization of financial systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities, safeguarding the company’s interests.

Job Requirements

•  Aged 30 or above, with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; candidates holding professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are preferred.
   
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management leadership or senior management roles within fast-growing companies (e-commerce, internet, retail, or FMCG).
   
• Proven experience in building a financial system from scratch (0 to 1), with solid knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and cross-border financial operations.
   
• Strong strategic thinking, data analysis, decision-making, and leadership skills.
   
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate across departments and present effectively to senior management.
   
• Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, able to adapt to high-intensity, fast-paced environments, and committed to contributing towards long-term value creation.
