Job Description

We are Malaysia’s leading Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) and we are aggressively expanding our business, and looking for dynamic, driven and motivated individuals to join our team. Our Direct-To-Consumer segment (D2C), is one of our fastest growing product areas in the market, with an abundance of expansion plans and innovative ideas on hand.

- Work closely with the team and be a team member and an active team player

- Able to write application specification and requirements when needed

- Able to do proper testing and guide team for testing

- Proper application monitoring post deployment

- Able to troubleshoot issues quickly and propose a solution

- Able to do implementations matching back the specifications

- Able to identify any weaknesses with the implementation and suggests and improvements

- Able to manage team to deliver the required solutions

- Able to provide guidance to other team members

- Able to identify improvement areas during implementation

- Able to work with the team to develop solutions that matches the requirements

- Able to work with other departments to ensure the solutions developed matches the other departments’ expectations.

- Able to communicate with external customers when needed

- Able to work hard when needed to deliver tasks given within the required timeline

Professional Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ experience with enterprise level application utilizing Javascript Technologies

- Experience in managing teams for 2 years

- Required skill(s):

o HTML, Javascript,

o NextJS Framework familiarity is preferred. Understand Server Side Rendering.

o ReactJS familiarity can be considered.

o CSS – Familiar with normal CSS and TailwindCSS

o Understand Component Based UI Development

o Familiar with Testing Tools like Jest / Cypress / Playwright / SeleniumHQ

- Additional skill(s):

o Familiar with secure tool like SonarQube / Fortify

o Able to write codes securely

o Able to translate UI Design to codes

o Familiarity with Web Design best practices

- Required language(s): English / Bahasa Malaysia

- Familiarity with Financial Industry is a plus

- Understanding of the following concepts:

o Proper Object-Oriented Programming

o Software Design Patterns and Anti-Patterns

o IOC / MVC

- Know the following tools:

o Git / Gitlab

o Jira

o Jenkins

o Sonarqube / Fortify

Project

- Enhancements on existing UI applications

- Upgrades of existing UI applications to latest technology

- Review and propose solutions for new projects

Leadership Experience

- Able to guide team members on the implementations needed

- Able to provide input to management when needed

- Able to work independently and find the most optimal solutions to the problem.

- Able to identify and suggests improvement areas in the system
