Job Description

Our Direct-To-Consumer segment (D2C), is one of our fastest growing product areas in the market, with an abundance of expansion plans and innovative ideas on hand.

The Order to Cash (O2C) Manager oversees the end-to-end O2C process, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, invoicing, credit management, and collections. This role is crucial for optimizing cash flow, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting the company’s financial health.

O2C Process Management

· Oversee the full O2C cycle, including order processing, billing, credit assessment, and collections, to ensure smooth and timely cash flow.

· Develop and enforce policies for credit management and collections to minimize outstanding receivables and improve cash recovery.

· Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve order and billing issues promptly.

Customer Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate efficient payments and address concerns.

· Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues, working to resolve disputes and maintain a positive customer experience.

· Monitor customer accounts for overdue balances, implementing proactive measures to reduce delays.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

· Track and manage key O2C metrics, such as days sales outstanding (DSO), accounts receivable aging, and collections effectiveness.

· Prepare regular reports on O2C performance, providing insights and recommending improvements to optimize the process.

· Conduct periodic reviews of accounts to ensure accurate invoicing and effective collections.

Strategic Initiatives and Process Improvement

· Lead initiatives to enhance O2C efficiency, such as automation of invoicing and payment reminders.

· Identify areas for continuous improvement within the O2C process, implementing new procedures to reduce bottlenecks and improve cash flow.

· Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize ERP systems and tools supporting O2C activities.

Leadership and Team Development

· Manage and mentor the O2C team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

· Conduct training and development programs for team members to enhance their skills in order management and collections.

· Facilitate clear and open communication within the team and across departments to align on O2C priorities and challenges.

Compliance and Risk Management

· Ensure adherence to financial policies, credit guidelines, and compliance regulations throughout the O2C process.

· Identify and mitigate risks within the O2C cycle, including credit risks and exposure to bad debt.

· Coordinate with auditors for periodic reviews, providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 5–7 years in an O2C, accounts receivable, or credit management role, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity

Skills/Knowledge

· Strong understanding of the O2C process, including order processing, billing, credit assessment, and collections.

· Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team in a high-paced environment.
