Job Description

We are Malaysia’s leading Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) and we are aggressively expanding our business, and looking for dynamic, driven and motivated individuals to join our team. Our Direct-To-Consumer segment (D2C), is one of our fastest growing product areas in the market, with an abundance of expansion plans and innovative ideas on hand.

The Strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for:

1. New and existing business opportunities – Identifying new business opportunities within the Named Commercial (brownfield) customers and new territory/greenfield customers focusing on expanding revenue & ARPU for CTOS Credit Manager and other solutions offer under CTOS e.g. eKYC, business listing, IBR, International reports & other offerings under the product/solution roadmap. Understand and gain expertise in all CTOS offerings, business processes, analyzing potential and executing through a structured territory plan.
2. Sales strategy and strategic sales plan – Execute and improve the overall sales execution internal and external to maximize ROI with existing/potential new resources, including developing a structured territory plan and a win-back strategy. Build a robust pipeline, generate pipeline growth, promote, and close sales/drive revenue and service our customers.
3. Customer Acquisition – Build and maintain executive relationship with customers, actively collaborate closely with customers, identifying their unique needs & challenges both from business and technical perspective, mapping them back to the solutions offer by CTOS. Communicate and visualize customers’ requirements/feedback or potential solution leveraging on existing offering to provide a unique solution to our customers, with product development team.
4. Performance Metrics – Key performance indicators: new logo penetration, Win rate, revenue, and customer CSAT.
5. Operational Efficiency – Leverage of Sales Performance Standard (SPS), SFDC and dashboard for performance monitoring, management, and process improvement.

● Min. bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

● Experience in tech, software sales, telco, financial services are preferred.
● A candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of working experience in commercial sales & marketing.
● Experience in working with corporate, enterprise accounts with sales cycles, product team and technical knowledge will be an advantage.
● Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

● Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal. As a manager the clarity of his/her communications down the line will be a major contributing factor to the performance and effectiveness of the team. Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

● Computer Skills/MS Office/Software/Tech:
Excellent computer skills and highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, which will all be necessary in the creation of visually and verbally engaging presentations for customers, departmental managers / management, and key stakeholders. Understanding how to leverage Tech, especially Data and AI to provide a better speed to execution, speed to market and delighting customer through a digital journey is key.

● Interpersonal Skills:
The candidate for this position will be self-motivated, be proactive taking initiative and going beyond his call of duty, be helpful and service-oriented, have exceptional problem-solving skills, work comfortably in a cross-functional setting, work comfortably with business senior executives, take accountability for the business’s performance, and have an ability to remain calm and composed under stress and uncertainty, inspiring the same in his team.

● People Skills:
This role requires the individual to have a natural ability to make strong, lasting, and meaningful connections with others, which will aid him/her in the execution of duties in this highly collaborative role. He/She will be a likeable and relatable individual who is easily approachable, hence, inspiring trust in customers, departmental managers, and stakeholders, who will all trust and follow in his/her insights, directives, and judgments.
