Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Learning & Engagement Intern supports the Learning & Engagement function in delivering impactful learning initiatives and employee engagement activities. This role provides administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth execution of training programmes, onboarding activities, and engagement events.

The intern will gain hands-on exposure to HR learning operations, employee experience initiatives, and internal communications while developing organisational and stakeholder management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Administration

  • Coordinate training programmes (internal and external), including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
  • Maintain training attendance records and update learning systems (LMS enrolment, progress tracking, and follow-ups).
  • Support post-training feedback consolidation and reporting.
  • Update training calendars and communicate learning schedules to employees.
  • Coordinate onboarding sessions for new hires, including scheduling and welcome communications.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and monitor onboarding module completion.
  • Support onboarding feedback tracking and engagement touchpoints.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Support event logistics, simple communications, and documentation (e.g., visuals, photos, filing).
  • Compile engagement survey responses and basic data summaries when required.

HR Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain proper documentation and digital filing for learning and engagement activities.
  • Ensure data accuracy, timely updates, and confidentiality in HR systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as assigned.

Internal Communications

  • Prepare monthly new hire announcements and simple internal communication materials (e.g., Canva visuals).

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
