Job Description

We are looking for a Creative Growth Strategist / AI Marketing Strategist to help build and scale our AI-powered marketing delivery system for Hong Kong SMEs.

This role is not a traditional content writer role. You will not be hired mainly to write captions manually. Instead, your core responsibility is to turn business objectives, customer pain points, and market insights into strong campaign angles, AI-ready briefs, content directions, and high-quality marketing outputs.

You will work closely with the founder, designer, and AI tools to produce content systems for CTRL Y, our internal brand, and selected client accounts across industries such as insurance, veterinary care, professional services, and SME growth marketing.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop monthly content and campaign angles for CTRL Y and client accounts. 
  • Translate client goals, offers, services, and pain points into clear AI-ready creative briefs. 
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Manus to generate first drafts, content variations, campaign ideas, and research inputs. 
  • Review and improve AI-generated outputs to ensure they are sharp, commercially relevant, brand-appropriate, and not generic. 
  • Build and maintain a creative angle bank, prompt library, and reusable content frameworks. 
  • Plan content calendars for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, SEO articles, and campaign assets. 
  • Work with the designer to turn content ideas into clear visual briefs for social posts, carousels, and campaign creatives. 
  • Support content production for regulated or sensitive industries by applying compliance-safe and medically cautious content judgment. 
  • Help create content for CTRL Y’s own marketing, including founder-led posts, lead magnets, trial campaigns, case studies, and sales enablement materials. 
  • Identify weak messaging, unclear positioning, boring AI outputs, and missed commercial opportunities. 
  • Improve internal workflows so that content production becomes faster, more consistent, and scalable. 

Job Requirements

  • Cantonese Fluency is a MUST
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, content marketing, social media, and campaign planning. 
  • Ability to think commercially, not just creatively — you should understand how content supports leads, enquiries, conversion, trust, and retention. 
  • Good understanding of Clients' pain points, especially around marketing manpower, content production, SEO, digital presence, and lead generation. 
  • Strong ability to create content angles, hooks, campaign ideas, and messaging frameworks. 
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Manus, or similar tools as part of the daily workflow. 
  • Able to write clear AI prompts and briefs that lead to useful, structured, and high-quality outputs. 
  • Strong judgment in reviewing AI-generated content and identifying what sounds generic, weak, off-brand, or commercially ineffective. 
  • Good writing and editing ability in Traditional Chinese and English. 
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different industries, including B2B services, insurance, healthcare, veterinary services, and founder-led brands. 
  • Able to brief designers clearly with content hierarchy, key message, CTA, and visual direction. 
  • Organized enough to manage content calendars, campaign ideas, drafts, review status, and deadlines. 
  • Comfortable working in a lean startup environment where workflows are being built, tested, and improved continuously. 
  • Bonus if you have experience in SEO content, LinkedIn content, Instagram carousel planning, paid ad creative, landing page copy, or lead generation campaigns. 
  • Bonus if you have experience working with regulated, technical, medical, insurance, or professional service industries. 
  • Must be proactive, sharp, detail-minded, and willing to challenge weak ideas instead of simply producing more content. 
  • Must not be resistant to AI. This role is designed for someone who can use AI to amplify strategic and creative output, not someone who sees AI as a threat.
