Job Description

We are a growing remote-first digital marketing agency looking for a Visual Content Design Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media content, and brand design. You will work closely with the founder and our Content Lead, supporting both client projects and internal brand content.

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-moving startup environment.

Chinese language ability is required for this role, as much of the content, communication, and client-related work involves Chinese.

For the right candidate, this internship may lead to a full-time remote position after the internship period, based on performance and business needs.

What you will do:

• Support the creation of social media visuals for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms 
• Design carousel posts, static graphics, campaign visuals, and short-form content assets 
• Assist in developing visual directions for different client brands 
• Help create visual content for our own company’s marketing channels 
• Work closely with the founder and Content Lead to turn content ideas into visual assets 
• Support the creation of templates and reusable design systems for content production 
• Assist with presentation decks, pitch materials, and branded assets when needed 
• Continuously improve design quality through feedback and iteration

• Internship duration: 6 months （4 days/week）
• Working arrangement: Remote 
• Employment type: Internship / Full-time intern 
• Potential for conversion to a full-time remote role after the internship, subject to performance and business needs

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong potential, good design sense, and the willingness to grow in a remote startup environment.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field 
• Strong interest in social media design, branding, and content creation 
• Basic to intermediate skills in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools 
• Good visual sense, layout ability, and attention to detail 
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly 
• Responsible, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote setup 
• Able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a small team 
• Chinese required: fluent in spoken and written Chinese 

Nice to have:

• Internship, freelance, or school project experience in social media or content design 
• Experience creating Instagram or LinkedIn content visuals 
• Basic knowledge of short-form video design or motion content 
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools or design workflows 
• Interest in branding, digital marketing, and startup environments
