Job Summary
As a content creator, you will be responsible for developing and creating engaging, high-quality content for various platforms, collaborating with design and marketing teams, analyzing performance data, and staying up to date with industry trends to continually improve content strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate and facilitate production and post-production of short-form video deliverables (with a primary focus on Instagram Reels, XiaoHongShu and TikTok).
• Work closely with marketing and digital cross-functional teams to understand messaging / content needs; brainstorm / develop original approaches bringing those.
• Support in the production of in-house social shoots messages.
• Content capture - predominately on iPhone, as well as digital camera and some photography - at in-house social content shoots, editorial & ecommerce shoots, as well as roadshow events.
• Monitor and report on latest trends and tech innovation within social media.
• Manage communications and build relationships with media, KOL, and third-party agencies for joint collaboration of various campaigns / promotions.
• Willingness to travel to different store locations, offline events such as trade shows, etc.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications / Mass Communications or equivalent Required skill(s):
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity, adapting as the external environment and organization evolves.
• Proficiency in Adobe and Photoshop / Editing Software is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of current media — publications, broadcasts, etc.
• Able to work under pressure and be adaptive to a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and able to work independently and as a team.
• One to three years of experience in content creation, social media management is an added advantage.

Personal & Interpersonal skills:

• Strong creative vision and excellent video editing and content creation skills.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• To be up to date on trends, viral topics, and creative content in social media in Malaysia.
