Job Description

• Can start immediate: intake January 2025
• Working Hour: 8.45 am - 5.45 pm 
• Working Days: Monday - Friday 
• Able to work for 6 - 12 months contract first (renewable subject to management) 

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate Net Asset Values (NAV), yields, distributions, and other fund accounting outputs for review.
• Accurately record securities positions, corporate actions, and journal entries in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, compliance reports, N-SARs, tax returns, financial statements, and other reports as assigned.
• Research specific securities in Fund portfolios to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with SEC, tax, and prospectus restrictions.
• Prepare, reconcile, and distribute institutional fund accounting reports to/from marketing, custodians, and investment management.
• Assist in managing trust and estate duties, including preparing tax forms, calculating disbursements, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining accounting data.
  

Job Requirements

• Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and proficient in both English and Malay
• Age limit: 23-30 years old (Malaysian only)
