Senior Cost Accountant

Location: Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM8,000 – RM10,000 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing accounting and cost management. The ideal candidate should be proficient in financial and costing processes, with knowledge of SAP systems to support accurate reporting and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and costing activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs to support cost control and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and review financial and costing reports.
• Utilise SAP systems to support finance, costing, and materials management processes.
• Ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
• Support other finance and accounting functions as required.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on costing experience.
• Professional certification such as CMA or ACCA is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance, Costing, and Materials Management (MM) modules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
