Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Executive of Business Development to expand our footprint within the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be the driving force behind acquiring new B2B partnerships, managing key accounts, and promoting the adoption of our recycled plastic materials among manufacturers (e.g., injection molding, packaging, automotive, and consumer goods).

The ideal candidate possesses a strong B2B sales background, an understanding of manufacturing supply chains, and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify, prospect, and secure new B2B manufacturing clients who can utilize our recycled plastic resins/materials in their production lines.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from cold-calling and initial presentations to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement managers, plant managers, and sustainability officers.
  • Needs Analysis: Work closely with prospective clients to understand their material requirements, technical specifications, and sustainability goals, positioning CY Plastic Recycling as their preferred partner.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and plastic market pricing to identify new business opportunities and advise internal strategy.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPI metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the operations and quality control teams to ensure client specifications are met and deliveries are executed seamlessly.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the plastics industry, polymer manufacturing, recycling, or waste management is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical material specifications.
    • Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Attributes: Self-starter, target-driven, resilient, and passionate about environmental sustainability.
  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
