The chosen applicant will deliver services and initiatives aimed at promoting the mental and emotional well-being of students. This includes offering individual counseling, interventions, outreach programmes, self-improvement workshops, events, and activities.

• To provide professional counselling services to students and staffs of Asia Metropolitan University (AMU).
• To provide a respectful, supportive, and confidential environment, where students can talk openly about their concerns and feelings.
• To plan and execute academic and skills programs to students of AMU with comparative grade point average (CGPA) below than 2.00.
• To plan and execute academic achievement programs for students of AMU so that they can achieve comparative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 – 4.00.
• To enhance AMU students’ professionalism and attitude alongside Disaster Relief Medicine (DRM), Personal Professional Development (PPD), Young Mercy (YM), soft skills activities and other curriculum activities.
• Administering personality, vocational, etc., assessments to AMU students and staffs on regular basis.
• Providing information of vocational and career to students (career counseling).
• Enhancing AMU’s students’ life skills, personal wellness, and the ability to succeed in all areas of their lives.
• To handle and administer the Student Disciplinary Committee and related reports, session, and hearing process.
• To assist in Student Feedback Management process as per requested.
• To ensure student welfare and well-being are taken care where the information and communication between department and faculty are aligned.

• Mininum Master’s degree in Counselling/Psychology or related disciplines
• Relevant working experience with youth/students is an added advantage
• 5 – 6 years’ experience in career and university guidance
• A member or eligible membership of the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia
