Job Summary
The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall performance of multiple retail stores. This role focuses on driving sales growth, operational excellence, brand consistency, and people development while ensuring alignment with company objectives and retail strategies.
Retail Operations & Strategy
- Oversee daily operations of assigned retail stores to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Develop and implement retail strategies to achieve sales targets and business goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, and retail standards across all stores
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews
Sales Performance & Business Growth
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and profitability across stores
- Analyse sales trends and identify opportunities to improve revenue and productivity
- Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities and campaigns
- Drive continuous improvement in sales performance and customer conversion
People Management & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and senior store leadership teams
- Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary matters when required
- Promote a positive, high-performance culture aligned with company values
Customer Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure excellent customer service standards across all retail locations
- Maintain consistent brand image, visual merchandising, and store presentation
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure effective resolution
Inventory, Merchandising & Loss Prevention
- Oversee inventory planning, stock allocation, and replenishment
- Monitor stock accuracy, shrinkage, and loss prevention controls
- Ensure effective visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines
Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Prepare and review sales, operational, and performance reports
- Provide insights, recommendations, and action plans to senior management
- Work closely with HR, Finance, Merchandising, and Operations teams
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of fashion retail experiences.
- Experience managing multiple stores or regions is an advantage
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to travel between stores, including overseas travel when required for meetings and training purposes.
- Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Language: English & Mandarin (to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients)
