Main mission is to drive and champion our ambition as a credible leader in infant nutrition. You will need to uncover the healthcare customer’s (HCPs) needs and to provide suitable nutritional solutions. You will also need to gain HCPs recommendation/endorsement for our range of products and to ensure plans and activities are implemented effectively to achieve the function goals and objectives.
- Call unto identified HCPs to establish strong scientific based relationship and position our range of solutions as the preferred solutions for the HCPs and position Danone as the company of first choice.
- Convince HCPs with the appropriate level of scientific and commercial argumentation to support DBN health agenda.
- Record and report back on call visits and progress against set objectives
- To identify business opportunity within assigned area and to develop business potentials to realize the potential of the respective area
- Gain hospital listings to create product usage and brand awareness at mothers e.g. via tenders, rotations and detailing
- Call on and have on-going contact with identified lists of HCP across the defined geographical area. E.g. To call on a list of HCP accounts within the territory assigned to her/him. To ensure regular visits to HCP in accordance with the census and frequency set
- Understand and respond to competitive activities and initiate and recommend actions to counter-act these in order to help protect our market position
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to ensure the ability to understand and explain all product information and hand outs and answer any question from HCP
- Following up customer queries/complaints (high level consumer complaints)
- Review business plan in line with cycle objectives on a timely basis with the Healthcare Nutrition Solution Manager
- Ensure that all business is conform to the WHO and local government code of ethics for infant formula products
- Ensure the accomplishment of qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators assigned for him/her for his/her respective area on daily, monthly and yearly basis
- Plan and implementation for tenders and/or rotation submission within the assigned territory.
- To maintain and remain updated with market, competitive and other related information.
- Update competitor intelligence and input into required template
- Develop counter plans if foresee threats from competitions
- To compile and submit reports on activities in accordance to established formats and schedule.
- To monitor and be responsible for monthly claims according to guidelines.
- To provide on-time reports as and when required
- To consistently review their activities to determine whether those activities are delivering expected returns
- Build strong relationships to targeted HCPs and mapping the Decision-Making networks in the region
- To establish a cordial working relationship with other departments particularly Trade Sales, Marketing and within Healthcare Nutrition.
- Organize local symposia/seminars with HCPs as required
- To organize and/or support events, seminars and activation identified by the company
