As a Sports Advisor, your mission is to ensure that every customer departs our store feeling ‘satisfied or delighted’. From providing a warm and professional greeting to streamlining the payment process, your focus is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience consistently. Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement

• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Fully dedicate yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction and finding suitable resolutions for all situations (returns, complaints, checkout, etc.).
• Educate customers about our omni-channel brand offerings across the entire range of products of interest.
• Understand the technical specifications and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend the right products and services to customers, regardless of stock availability.
• Expand the customer network both in-store and online to nurture personal relationships.
• Share your passion for sports and assist customers in exploring new activities.
• Enhance customer engagement by promoting the subscription and registration of loyalty cards.
• Participate in community sports events near the store.

2. Contributions to Decathlon Malaysia

• Understand the department’s goals and collaborate with the team to achieve them.
• Encourage innovation and enhance the in-store sports experience.
• Maximize Decathlon Malaysia's sales using available resources and commercial tools.
• Organize the store layout according to implementation standards and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality implementation based on customer satisfaction metrics (FCS).
• Maintain an appealing layout with well-displayed products to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure stock accuracy and availability through the automatic replenishment system.
• Raise awareness of Decathlon Connect among all stakeholders.

3. Ensuring Safety for All

• Implement fundamental safety and security standards across departments.
• Understand and uphold the preventive guidelines and procedures for fire safety and evacuation.
• Apply and enforce all security protocols related to personnel, products, and cash, actively contributing to loss prevention efforts.
• Follow the product safety policy, including tracking sensitive products, managing use-by dates, and ensuring compliance with standard adjustments.

4. Personal Growth and Development Skills

• Understand and manage your personal development and training plans.
• Engage in training sessions, enhance your skillset, and aspire to become a trainer.
• Support the growth of teammates in collaboration with leadership.

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication abilities in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal) are a must. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• A minimum of a Diploma is required.
