What you’ll achieveFor a Tax Senior Analyst, this is a key role within the ANZ Tax team, supporting tax portfolio management and driving process automation. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a positive attitude, a strong desire to grow in&nbsp;taxation, and a keen interest in automation tools. The role will work closely with ANZ Tax team and reports directly to the Regional Tax Director.You will:1. Tax Compliance<ul><li>Assist in preparing timely and accurate ANZ GST returns</li><li>Conduct monthly Australian and quarterly New Zealand Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) analysis</li><li>Maintain quarterly fixed assets tax depreciation schedules</li><li>Support annual income tax return analysis</li><li>Support cash tax forecast and raise payment vouchers timely</li><li>Manage export control documentation and reconciliations</li><li>Maintain tax related trend analysis by using Power BI</li><li>Ensure proper documentation in line with local tax regulation</li></ul>2. Process Automation<ul><li>Identify and support automation opportunities in collaboration with the wider Tax team</li><li>Drive improvements in tax filing and reporting using tools</li></ul>3. Tax Audits &amp; Controversies:<ul><li>Support the ANZ Tax team in handling tax audits, inquiries, and disputes</li><li>Contribute to audit readiness tasks such as Revenue and Opex reconciliations</li></ul>4. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements<ul><li>4-5 years+ of related experience in a large MNC and/or a CPA firm with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Taxation;</li><li>Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Enthusiastic about learning and applying automation tools (i.e. Alteryx &amp; Python etc.)</li><li>Self-motivated, collaborative, and a proactive team player.
