Work you’ll do

  • To focus primarily on APAC regional delivery of US GAAP to Local GAAP conversions. 
  • Assist with the preparation of APAC statutory accounting services (GAAP conversion and financial statements).
  • Assist with the reporting and documentation process focusing on regional centralisation of indirect tax returns and financial statements preparation.
  • Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements (for various IFRS-compliant countries in APAC).
  • Coordinate the delivery of tax and statutory accounting services for corporate clients in the APAC region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field, with a Professional Qualification or in the process of completing professional papers as recognized by ISCA or equivalent, i.e. CPA Australia, ACCA, ICAEW, Malaysian CPA.
  • 5 years of audit and accounting experience in an international accounting firm or in an MNC where you have been involved in IFRS/SFRS audit or GAAP conversion.
  • Strong IFRS (or equivalent) technical skills.
  • Have general knowledge of differences between US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Must have general knowledge on the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance to IFRS and similar GAAPs & audit process.
  • Strong microsoft excel and word skills.
  • Excellent research and project management skills.
  • Highly organized and have a strong analytical mind.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
