Job Description

Manage VAT/GST and other indirect tax compliance and payment obligations related to global digital services.

Perform and coordinate VAT/GST registrations and periodic compliance filings across multiple jurisdictions.

Monitor changes in indirect tax regulations and requirements across jurisdictions and assess their potential impact.

Coordinate with overseas Deloitte member firms and external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of tax compliance activities.

Liaise with clients and overseas stakeholders to manage tax-related matters, filing requirements, and compliance timelines.

Support indirect tax projects, including new country registrations and remediation of historical non-compliance or outstanding filing obligations.

Prepare reports and updates on global indirect tax compliance status, key developments, and outstanding issues.

Supporting Korean clients on various tax compliance and advisory matters, including coordination with relevant Deloitte specialists.

Monitoring relevant changes in Malaysian and international tax regulations and assessing their potential implications for Korean clients.

Preparing client communications, reports, proposals, and other materials relating to tax and advisory engagements.

Proactively identifying client needs, potential issues, and opportunities for additional support or services.
