Job Description

Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and review tax returns for employers and individuals, ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment and personal income tax regulations.

Client Liaison: Draft correspondence and communicate with clients and expatriate individuals to gather information and clarify requirements for tax reporting.

Regulatory Interaction: Under guidance, liaise with the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on administrative procedures, including tax filing, appeals, and refund status.

Engagement Management: Support engagement teams with administrative tasks such as background checks, risk assessments, engagement tracking, and billing.

Research & Knowledge Application: Conduct research on employment tax matters, stay updated on changes in tax laws, and apply insights to daily work.

Expatriate Support: Assist with entry/exit tax briefings for expatriates as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with engagement teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive environment.

Ad Hoc Support: Handle additional tasks as required to support client and team needs.
