Job Description

  • Define the end-to-end architecture for the Temenos core banking platform including infrastructure, application, integration, data, and security domains.
  • Serve as the design authority for all core banking components – including Temenos modules (Accounts, Lending, Payments, Treasury, etc.), extensibility framework (TAFJ/TAFC), and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define a scalable, resilient, and future-ready platform roadmap.
  • Lead the technical design of customizations, product configurations, and parameterizations based on business and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and govern integration patterns with surrounding systems (CRM, digital channels, payments, GL, regulatory, etc.), using OFS, APIs, MQ, Kafka, etc.
  • Provide guidance on DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, and environment strategy for Temenos.
  • Drive decisions around performance tuning, batch processing optimization, data partitioning, and high availability setup.
  • Evaluate and guide decisions around cloud adoption (e.g., Azure, AWS) or on-prem deployment of Temenos.
  • Ensure platform meets non-functional requirements (security, observability, scalability, DR/HA).
  • Review vendor solution designs, code, and custom components for quality and compliance with architecture principles.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
