Job Overview

Design Base Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and coordinating closely with the design team to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the company's client base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Generate new interior design and fit-out project opportunities for the company
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Follow up on sales enquiries and project opportunities from initial discussion to project completion
• Work closely with the in-house design team to develop practical, creative, and competitive design solutions that meet clients' requirements
• Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle and ensure their requirements are addressed promptly
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and project discussions when required
• Prepare project proposals, quotations, and related documentation
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high level of client satisfaction

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in interior design projects, project coordination, business development, or sales-related roles
• Experience in the interior design, renovation, fit-out, or construction industry will be an added advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented with excellent relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings and site visits
