Job Description

Job Title: Senior Human Resource Executive
Department: Human Resources
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resource Executive to join our Admin team with strong knowledge of Legal Compliance background.
This role is perfect for candidates with extensive HR experience, preferably within the Education Sector.
The Senior HR Executive will be instrumental in overseeing daily HR operations, recruitment processes, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

 Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, performance management, and employee welfare.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and school policies.
  • Support staff development initiatives and training programs.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions professionally.
  • Liaise with government bodies regarding HR-related matters (e.g., work permits, statutory contributions).
  • Manage all HR activities including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll management, performance evaluations, and employee wellbeing.

Job Requirements

 Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Law, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience in the education industry or international school environment is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor regulations and strong HR Legal Compliance background.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities in English and Bahasa.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Able to work independently, stay organized, and perform well under pressure.
  • Must possess no criminal history and maintain a level of physical and mental fitness suitable for the position.
