Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to manage a team of two (1 Senior C 1 Junior).

You will be inheriting a department with established SOPs, custom-built trackers, and a reporting line directly to the CEO. Your job is to ensure the team maintains the high standards of accuracy, automation, and strategic insight that have been the foundation of our success.

Leadership C Strategic Oversight

• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and review the work of a Senior and Junior staff member. You are responsible for their output, professional growth, and the overall efficiency of the finance function.
• Direct CEO Support: Serve as the strategic right-hand to the CEO on cash flow planning, fund management, and high-level operational decision-making.
• Budgets Gatekeeper: Own and evolve the Media Buy Trackers that monitor ~85% of company profit margins. You are the final eyes on the data that drives the business.
• MCA C Regulatory Lead: Spearhead due diligence for future acquisition projects. Manage our compliance and all high-level liaisons with auditors, secretary and tax agents.

The Day-to-Day Ownership

• Multi-Entity Control: Oversee the full-spectrum accounting for 7 entities across MY C SG, ensuring the team handles invoicing, payments, and reconciliations with total precision.
• Automation Mastery: Continue the push for AI adoption for the finance department by optimizing e-invoicing, self-billing, and automated reporting tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting C Finance
• 7+ years of experience, including a background in Audit and Corporate Finance.
• Assistant Managers looking to step up into their first Managerial role are highly encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience managing/co-managing a small team and reporting to C- suite/Founders.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements and tax laws.
• High proficiency in advanced Excel and financial automation tools.
• Exposure to cloud -based accounting C payroll software
• Exposure to Google Workspace
