Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile HR Generalist with strong expertise in Training & Development, Retail Recruitment, Hostel Management, and Employee Relations. This role requires someone hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to support a fast-paced retail workforce environment.
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Training & Development (Core Focus)
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across retail and HQ functions.
Evaluate and select suitable training providers (customer service, product knowledge, compliance, etc.).
Plan and coordinate training schedules and ensure full attendance.
Track training progress, maintain training dashboards, and gather post-training feedback.
Monitor training effectiveness and propose improvements.
2️⃣ Retail Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Handle end-to-end recruitment for sales consultants, cashiers, promoters, and other retail roles.
Source proactively using platforms, walk-ins, job fairs, and fast screening.
Manage onboarding, uniform issuance, and outlet assignment.
Support mass hiring during peak and promotional periods.
3️⃣ Employee Accommodation (Hostel) Management
Oversee company-provided accommodation and ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
Conduct frequent hostel checks and report issues promptly.
Liaise with landlords and vendors for repairs, maintenance, or facility upgrades.
Handle hostel allocation, occupancy records, and discipline related to hostel rules.
4️⃣ Employee Relations & Disciplinary Support
Assist in handling employee misconduct, counselling, warning letters, and case documentation.
Experience in dealing with JTK / IR matters is highly required.
Maintain accurate HR records, incident logs, and follow proper HR procedures.
5️⃣ HR Operations & Policy Management
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies and SOPs.
Ensure accuracy in HR documentation, forms, checklists, and employee records.
Support day-to-day HR operations including attendance checks, HRIS updates, and HR reporting.
5️⃣ HR System & Data Management
Maintain accurate HRIS data (new hires, transfers, promotions, outlet movements).
Update attendance and scheduling systems for payroll accuracy.
Prepare monthly HR reports for management.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years HR generalist experience, preferably in retail industry.
Strong competency in:
