General Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the business unit departmental day-to-day HR operations and all operating targets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
  • Execute and manage management team's decisions on short-/long-term HR initiatives in line with company’s business direction
  • Drive the recruiting planning strategies (e.g. forecasting, short-/medium-term manpower requirements, etc.) to align with, and meet, business demands and HR cost control
  • Manage deployment of HR services delivery, systems and work tools utilization to streamline work processes across functions in efficient and scalable manner
  • Prepare periodical reports to provide validated HR metrics and benchmarks to support business decisions
  • Drive, together with line manager, employee engagement initiatives to increase employee engagement, performance, retention and training environments
  • Ensure HR policies and procedure are consistently administered and aligned

Job Summary

As Assistant Manager, HR Business Partner, you will need to manage the implementation of HR strategic, tactical and operational initiatives and align with Group HR strategies, along with Business Unit Consumer Goods in order to achieve excellent business results.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent in handling full spectrum of HR strategic, administrative and operational duties
  • Well verse in developing and implementing HR strategies / initiatives to achieve business goals
  • Able to demonstrate full depth understanding of the business, its levers for growth, its change dynamics and critical success factors.
  • Exposure in managing governance, risk and compliance and project management will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent in English communication (speaking and writing) and interpersonal skills as one will need to focus on stakeholder management and building a strong relationship with business
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
  • Must be a self-driven and self-motivated person, resourceful, fast learner, pro-active, committed, adaptable, team player and strong attention to details.
  • Must be able to work at our Consumer Goods Logistic office in Taman Sentosa, Klang and travel frequently to HQ The Ascent PJ.

Education

Candidate must possess at least minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or in any related field, with at least minimum 6 years of working experience in end to end HR business partnering capacity in any large FMCG, Logistics, Supply Chain companies.
