Job Summary:

To monitor the achievement of sales objectives with key accounts as well as identify and propose plan to exploiting business development activities with prioritization on key customers/key projects/untapped customer segments.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analysis.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned leading industrial customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration.
  • Carry out visits to target customers to promote products and provide feedback to business and suppliers of customer response and activity.
  • Manage project pipeline via CRM to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
  • Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Food Science, or other relevant education.
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
  • Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of regulatory requirements of products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, storage, etc.
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to liaise with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong team player and able to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills in order to follow different assigned task.
  • Highly organized, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sense of ownership and drive (problem solver, self-starter with a bias for prompt action and removing roadblocks, accountable to get things done in a timely manner).
