Job Summary
Define and prioritize digital product features, align requirements with stakeholders, manage development timelines, ensure optimal functionality, and monitor metrics to drive continuous improvements.
General Responsibilities
Product Roadmap and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Partner with sales teams, customers, and other stakeholders to drive adoption of the digital products and maximize value across markets.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure product initiatives address user requirements and deliver a consistent global presence.
Customer Portal Management
- Drive end-to-end management of DKSH Discover (dkshdiscover.com), a B2B eCommerce platform, by ensuring a seamless user experience for both storefront and back-office management.
- Collaborate with product team and other stakeholders to deliver product catalogue features, search functionality, and integrations with internal systems (Salesforce and SAP) and external platforms.
- Ensure platform scalability and alignment with global and regional requirements to support diverse market needs.
- Continuously optimize the platform’s performance by analysing user behaviour, monitoring outcomes, and implementing improvements
Agile Product Management
- Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review ceremonies to ensure high-quality, customer-centric deliverables.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to prioritize features, resolve blockers, and deliver incremental value aligned with business priorities.
- Own the product backlog, refinement, and prioritization of user stories based on evolving business needs and market opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication and transparency with stakeholders via sprint demos, progress updates, and actionable insights.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Roadmap Alignment: Develop and refine the product roadmap to meet business objectives and drive digital transformation.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvements and measurable success
- Innovation Driver: Facilitate continuous improvement by exploring emerging technologies and implementing features.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align product priorities.
- Delivery Management: Prioritize product backlog and optimize resources to deliver features within set timelines.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks in product development or adoption, and proactively implement solutions to address challenges.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvements and measurable success.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Platform Proficiency: Online marketplace ecosystem, including eCommerce platforms, PIM systems, Content Management System, UI/UX design, SEO, JIRA, and digital marketing solutions.
- Product Architecture: Solution Design, System Integrations, and Automations & Workflows
- Development Methodologies & Tools: Agile, Lean, Waterfall, JIRA, Salesforce, SAP Hybris (SAP ERP is a plus)
- Technology Insight: Emerging technologies, solutions, and tools
- Data & Analytics: Handle, interpret, and manage data to obtain insights.
- Problem Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills with an operational mindset and execution.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum 5 years working experience, with 2-3 years in product management, business analysis, and software delivery, preferably in eCommerce and/or digital platforms.
- Experience in understanding business context and processes and collaborating with teams in delivering value to business users and customers.
- Experience working in Agile environments, managing product backlogs, and alignment with cross-functional teams.
